Hevi-Wate

 

DPU supplies both integral and friction welded Heavy Weight Drill Pipe (HWDP).  Integrated HWDP are made of either premium or customized AISI 4145H alloy steel, then further processed by large scale turning machine to maintain pipe integrity.  Production process strictly follow SY/T 5146-1997 requirements.   Machining of friction welded HWDP pipes is as same as machining regular drill pipes; such as friction welding, welding line heat treatment, etc.  Pipe body materials are AISI-1340 heavy wall steel pipe from the Timken Company® of USA.  DPU can also supply customized Heavy Weight Drill Pipe and Non-Magnetic Heavy Weight Drill Pipes according to customer specifications.
